Nestle, the makers of Lean Cuisine meals have today recalled thousands of pounds in weight of chicken meals from the Lean Cuisine range. Apparently there have been small pieces of plastic being found in the meals and one case has allegedly caused an injury.
The package meals which have been recalled are:
9.5-ounce packages of “Lean Cuisine Pesto Chicken with Bow Tie Pasta” brand frozen meals.
10.5-ounce packages of “Lean Cuisine Chicken Mediterranean” brand frozen meals.
12.5-ounce packages of “Lean Cuisine Chicken Tuscan” brand frozen meals.
Each package has the USDA inspection mark and an establishment number of “EST P-9018.” All the meals were produced between August 18th – Oct 27th and have been distributed to stores throughout the US.
